Do I need a licence to ride an eFoil in Dubai?

As of mid-2026 the UAE has no licence category specifically for eFoils. Rules that apply to powered watercraft still matter: stay out of marked swimming zones, keep clear distances from swimmers and boats, and wear flotation. Rules evolve and vary by emirate — see our full guide to eFoil rules in the UAE and check with the Dubai Maritime Authority for the latest position.

How hard is it to learn?

Most people fly in their first session. You start on your knees or belly, build up speed, then stand and let the wing lift you. With guidance, expect your first controlled flights within an hour — book a lesson in Jumeirah and see for yourself.

How long does the battery last?

It depends on rider weight, speed and conditions, which is why we quote battery capacity (Wh) rather than marketing minutes. The Flyer Evo's 2300 Wh PowerFlight battery is one of the largest in the category; ridden calmly it delivers long sessions, ridden flat-out it drains faster — like any electric vehicle.

Can I try before I buy?

Yes. We run demo and lesson sessions in Jumeirah, Dubai (AED 650 for 1 hour, AED 1,200 for 2 hours). You get real water time on the actual product with guidance.

Do you deliver outside Dubai?

Yes — across the UAE, and to Qatar and the wider GCC. In-stock items reach Dubai addresses in 1–3 working days typically. See Delivery & Shipping.

What warranty do I get?

The official Waydoo manufacturer warranty, serviced locally in Dubai — no shipping your gear abroad. See Warranty & Service for what is covered and how claims work.

Can I take the Subnado on a plane?

The standard Subnado's built-in 98 Wh battery sits under the common 100 Wh airline carry-on limit, so most airlines allow it — always check your airline's battery policy before you fly. For the Subnado Plus (144 Wh), airline approval rules differ; ask your airline in advance.

Is the Subnado suitable for kids?

In the pool or shallow water with adult supervision, yes — the trigger stops the motor the moment it is released, and the propeller is shrouded.

Is riding possible in the UAE summer?

Yes — dawn and evening sessions are the move from June to September, and battery care matters in the heat: store gear in the shade, never in a hot car boot. The rest of the year, conditions are world-class all day.
