2. Manta Foils Volt 4 — best carbon alternative, from ~AED 35,000
From US$8,995, roughly AED 35,000 delivered with VAT. Four board sizes from 50 L to 150 L, carbon construction options, and shipping from global warehouses.
Strengths: the board-size range is the widest here, which matters if you are light, heavy, or want a small board to progress onto. Carbon build quality at a price well under Fliteboard and Lift.
Check before buying: how warranty and parts reach you in the UAE, and lead times on batteries.
Best for: riders who want carbon and a specific board volume, and are comfortable with a direct-order relationship.
3. Fliteboard — the prestige pick, ~AED 39,000–55,000 landed
Flite AIR from US$8,999, Fliteboard PRO US$10,999–12,599, ULTRA from US$12,825. Beautifully engineered and the most recognised name in eFoiling.
The UAE catch: Fliteboard covers import fees only for Australia, the US, EU and UK. UAE buyers pay shipping (quoted at checkout), 5% customs and 5% VAT on top. A PRO in standard configuration lands around AED 54,000. Some UAE-advertised Fliteboard prices explicitly exclude shipping, customs and VAT — a AED 37,800 headline is not a AED 37,800 board on your beach.
Best for: buyers who want the brand and have budgeted the true landed cost. Get the all-in AED number in writing before committing.
4. Lift Foils — top of the UAE market, AED 65,000–70,000
LIFT5 series at AED 65,000 and LIFTX at AED 70,000 through a Dubai-based seller. Genuine advantages: a locally present seller, superb build, and the deepest wing catalogue in foiling for riders who also prone, wing or downwind.
Best for: experienced foilers who already ride Lift wings and want ecosystem continuity, and buyers for whom price is not the constraint.
5. Flitescooter — the handlebar alternative, ~AED 52,000 landed
US$11,999 before shipping and tax. A different proposition: handlebars instead of a free-standing ride, which flattens the learning curve dramatically. If a family member cannot get comfortable on a standard eFoil, a handlebar board is a real answer. It lands around AED 52,000 in the UAE, which is a lot for a beginner-friendly format.
